There was a recent article in the Arizona Republic Newspaper concerning a potential rebate to certain APS customers for electricity charges entitled:
NOTICE OF COMPENSATION TO SRP SHAREHOLDERS WHO WERE SERVED ELECTRICITY BY ARIZONA PUBLIC SERVICE IN 2007
RCI made an inquiry of SRP as to the necessary qualifications to receive such a rebate. The following represents what was stated:
(a) The rebate only applies to Residential and not Commercial customers (Unit Owners could qualify but the bills paid by the Regimes could not) (b) If you had qualified, you would have already received an application, in the mail, from SRP for such rebate. (c) To qualify, the charge by APS for your electricity would have had to have been at least fifteen percent (15%) above that which SRP would have charged. (d) The person who made the inquiry is a resident of the Shadows and it was determined that for the unit inquired about the excess was only 7-1/2% and so did not qualify. (e) An assumption could be drawn that none of the units would qualify since all are located within the same community.
If, in any event you wish to apply for such rebate, the article and the application form for the rebate application appear below.
